Athira’s beloved father passes away November 7th 2022. Heron jumps on the next flight to Halifax (November 8th 2022) to support her

Heron’s Dad Passes Away

November 12th 2022

Heron’s beloved father passes away November 12th 2022, 1:45AM. Exactly 2 hours after Heron calls his dad from the airport after landing in YOW returning home from Halifax. Athira flies to Ottawa the same day to support Heron and prepare for Raj’s funeral.

Athira Moves In with Heron (from Halifax, NS to Ottawa, ON)

Athira and Heron grow closer together after losing both of their fathers within 5 days of each other. We grow closer and bond over their grief and we are more sure than ever that we were meant to be together, as both our fathers would have wanted.

We first got our birds (Snow and Sky) December 2022. Snow passed away December 26th 2022, but Sky keeps our spirits up. Sunny was added to our family June 2024
